Tucker's Journey
We wanted to share a little update on Tucker and what’s ahead for our sweet boy. The past few weeks have been full of growth, reflection, and planning for our next adventure.
First, we’re excited to share that Tucker’s next step will be in June when we travel to Neuro Solutions in Atlanta, Georgia. He will be doing a week of laser light therapy with Ryan Cedarmark, and we are incredibly hopeful about what this opportunity could bring for Tucker. As always, we step into each new therapy with faith, hope, and the determination to keep giving him every chance to grow stronger and more independent.
We also just celebrated Easter, and it was such a special weekend for our family. The Easter Bunny made sure to stop by and visit Tucker, and we were blessed to attend church together. It was a beautiful, Jesus-filled weekend that gave us time to slow down, reflect, and remember what truly matters — faith, family, and the many blessings surrounding Tucker’s journey.
Last week, Tucker completed a week-long intensive at NAPA Center, and we saw so many incredible things. He worked hard on core control, head control, and motor planning for walking. One of the biggest takeaways from the week was learning that Tucker’s vision is actually improving despite his brain injury. His diagnosis of CVI affects how his brain processes what he sees, and we learned that his head tilt down to the right side isn’t just a habit — it’s actually where he is currently seeing best. Understanding this helps us support him better and celebrate the progress that is happening in ways we didn’t fully realize before. Watching him work so hard and gain strength continues to amaze us.
We also want to say thank you. Thank you for the prayers, the encouragement, the messages, the shares, and the continued love you show Tucker. Our community has carried us through so many moments, and we truly could not do this without you. We are beyond blessed to have so many people walking alongside us.
We also still have Tucker’s T-shirt fundraiser going on, and we would love for everyone to grab one if you’re able. Every shirt helps support Tucker’s therapies and upcoming trip to Atlanta. More than that, it helps us spread awareness and show Tucker just how many people are cheering him on.
Thank you for continuing to follow Tucker’s Journey, pray for him, and support him. We are excited for what’s ahead and grateful for every step forward — big and small. 💙
