He’s doing ok. They had a rough time getting his pain under control and were chasing the pain for a while. He’s finally just now getting back to the room around 6pm. He got out of surgery around 1pm today. They started the surgery around 9:30am. 

 

His pain level is at an 8 now but hopefully will jump down quickly with the pain meds they just gave him. His BP is slowly coming down as his pain levels get under control. 153/94 currently

 

That is the only negative. The surgeon said his surgery went great and that his kidney started releasing urine almost immediately which is huge!

 

He also stated that visually his organs look good. He has a small area that is showing signs of cardiovascular disease. But the surgeon said he has no worries with what he saw. 

As I’m typing this he’s starting to talk more and smiling and laughing with the nurse.
