Last week, Torvin crushed the cargo net playground obstacle! Every few months, we try it again to see how he’s progressing, and this time he showed so much more stability and balance than before. It was such an encouraging moment and a beautiful reminder of how far he has come.

Because of all the rain lately, we’ve been spending a lot of time indoors focusing on therapy, especially ABR. The more consistent we are with it, the more benefits we’re seeing. With swim season coming up, our schedule is about to get even busier, so we’re trying to make the most of this indoor therapy time while we can.

We also got to borrow our friend’s sweet dog, Buko, for a bit. Torvin absolutely loves spending time with dogs — although he keeps telling us he really wants a cat!

This week has also been filled with phone calls, emails, and paperwork as I continue fighting for Medicaid hours. It’s exhausting and time-consuming, but we keep pushing. I’ve also been searching and applying for grants to help cover the therapies and support Torvin needs, which is another big job in itself.
