Today marks 60 days since my diagnoses, and my third chemo treatment.

My appointment with my oncologist was positive, the tumor markers are going down, my liver enzymes are ALL within normal range now. My body is responding to the treatment! YAY! I was told today that I’ll likely have at least 18 chemo treatments before moving to maintenance, which is still chemo, just less of it. Will my hair ever come back? Likely no. My body has also been launched into menopause - haha my poor husband, ya’ll should be praying for him too 🤣, hormone replacement therapy isn’t an option for me. It’s fine, everything is fine!!! 🤗

PortTricia decided to be a real pill today and the nurses struggled to gain access. After two long hours, I was finally able to get chemo through my port. What I planned on being a 5 hour day turned into 7. I had two of my longest and dearest friends on chemo buddy duty today. Scott joins me for the labs and the very important appointment with the oncologist each treatment cycle, and leaves the chemo entertainment to my village of amazing friends. He has been an amazing caretaker at home and ensures I have everything I need. 💕

I am feeling hopeful, feeling grateful, and also feeling like I need a nap after this very long day.

Love you all -
Tina

Looking beautiful as always. I'm sorry it was a long day with PortTricia acting up. So happy to hear your body is responding to treatment. And also, your poor sweet body - that's a lot to go through physically and emotionally! So glad for your village. Sending love from TX.
