Why drive to Birmingham when you have a plastic surgeon/friend/brother that makes house calls? We ran into our friend, Allen Clark, in Bham last week and he said to call if we needed anything. Well this week I got sick with Covid so I took Allen up on his offer!
Tim is improving daily. He's not suppose to lift anything heavy so he has spent his days raking the front of our property and then burning the leaves. Another benefit of living in Pike Road! He starts speech today so we are thankful to get some assistance on his aphasia.
While our last two weeks have been a whirlwind we have consistently seen the Lord's hand throughout. Seeing Allen in Birmingham was not coincidence and thankful that Nettie is heading home to help AND has a long weekend from school.
Remember the verse, Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.?
The few examples above remind us that we are not overwhelmed in the river or burned by this fire we are currently walking through! Thank you Lord for these daily reminders.
