Tim Cantey
It almost seems like a normal morning. Thankfully we can be "piped in" for Sunday school and watching our Eastwood worship service online this morning. We have been home since Thursday afternoon, discharged exactly 24 hours from the closing of his surgery.
Considering all that Tim has been through this past week, he is doing great! We have not noticed any weakness on the right side and therefore no OT. He has difficulty finding some words, more so when he gets tired, and hope to start speech therapy this week. Same ole Tim. He has requested to go to the office for a bit this week (eye roll emoji) and yesterday we walked the dog for about a half mile.
Praise God for all he has done! We are so thankful for the work He has done through the hands of others from removing a tumor, cheerful nurses, meals, texts, home visit from our local neurologist/friend/fellow glioblastoma member/encourager in Christ, dog sitter, MIL's visit, etc. etc. etc.
But mostly we are thankful for our Savior and the Word of God that comforts and encourages us. Please read Isaiah 43 to be reminded who He is and Psalm 103 as King David expresses his thankfulness to God and praises Him. Psalm 103:22 Bless the LORD, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
