Pearl Loves Blizzards Too

Even our pup, Pearl, got in on the celebratory Blizzard action! Praise God for another clean scan!! Today we ventured to UAB for Tim's three month MRI/check up and the scan looked the same as last April so Dr. Nabors said, "go on your trip and see you in September!"
When the doctor told Tim he could return to work and normal activity he did not know that he had unleashed the beast! If you've met Tim you know that he rarely sits and goes mentally and physically full speed.  By the end of the day Tim's aphasia is more apparent so he really needs to slooooow dooooown.
Tim has a work conference at the beach every year that overlaps with Father's Day so it's usually celebrated in Orange Beach. Nettie traveled from an out of town wedding to join us for the day.  We sure missed having Sam with us too.
Speaking of the kids, Sam served with Fishers Farm for a week with Carpenters for Christ in rural Illinois helping to build a pole barn.  He had a great experience and seems to be excelling and enjoying his time at Fishers Farm.  We are so grateful for their ministry and the impact it is having on Sam.
Nettie decided to stay in Mobile this summer, living on campus. She's not taking classes but working very full time and playing on a WPSL (ladies soccer) team in Daphne. We miss them both, especially Pearl.
While at UAB we got to visit a very special patient, Drew Peterson, who is the husband of my cousin, Liza. Last September he had a massive stroke and this week fell, hitting his head while having a seizure.  Please pray that Drew will quickly regain the progress he has made. And pray for Liza as she cares for Drew 24/7.
Thank y'all for caring for us. It is so humbling to think that we are on people's mind and prayer list. Please continue to pray for no progression, healing of the brain, no aphasia and for Drew and Liza. Praise God for his goodness to us.
