Old Friends Are The Best

This afternoon we got the results from the latest MRI. It "looks as good as expected" was the exact words of the radiology oncologist. Months ago we were told that scans might look worse due to swelling from being pounded by the radiology and... it didn't look worse. Yay! And there was no evidence of progression. Yay, yay!
This will be our new baseline for comparison for the future. The next MRI is in two months. Our hopes and prayers is that there will be less swelling and no new progression anywhere else in the brain.
Tim has had some surprise phone calls and texts from all areas and phases of life. Last week he got a call from his best friend from high school that he was in route to visit. Berry drove almost three hours, visited for an hour, then drove back to Meridian. Thanks everyone for all the encouragement.
Next week we meet with the medical oncologist to discuss where we go from here. Please pray with us as we decide the next phase of treatment, continued healing from surgery and radiation, destruction of any cancer cells, and for Sam and Nettie.
Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
