Tim is out of surgery and we are in a room.  Complete info will be trickling in as MRIs, CTs and pathology reports come in but I'll try to simplify what I know.
Dr Riley said it went as well as she had hoped.  They located the area of speech and it was behind the tumor. She cut out as far back as she felt was safe and feels like she got the whole tumor, an MRI will show if all was contained.  
Dr. Riley said that it appears that all that was removed was radiation necrosis (dead cells from the radiation last spring) and the few small spots that resembled cancer cells looked like treated cancer cells and not new growth.  
Tim is currently enjoying the benefits of anesthesia.  So far no pain. He followed all physical commands by the surgeon and got most of the verbal cues and currently working on a black eye.  We are very encouraged. Thank you for praying along with us!
