Tim Cantey
Tim has now completed four of his six weeks of radiation. Side note, the radiation center is closed on Good Friday so his final day of radiation will be Monday, April 21.
So far the only side effect is occasional queasiness. While that is not fun, we are so thankful that he has not had full-on nausea or fatigue. Food doesn't have its same appeal or taste and realized that thrush (a yeast/fungal infection on the tongue) might be the cause. Hopefully meds will quickly remedy and he'll enjoy my cooking again.
Yesterday Tim and I (and Pearl) were able to make a quick trip to Mobile to watch Nettie play her final spring soccer game for the year.
We are so thankful to the Lord that Tim has the energy to keep up a fairly normal lifestyle. We are also thankful for all the comments, calls, texts, etc. from friends far and near. Tim loves hearing from everyone, cancer has not curbed his love of anything social. Also it's very humbling to know of all the people praying for Tim's healing (and for me, Sam and Nettie). Please continue!
Psalm 116:12-14 What shall I render to the LORD for all his benefits to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD, I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

The LORD hears when I call to Him.
Tremble and do not sin; meditate in your heart upon your bed and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and trust in the LORD.
Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us O LORD! You have put gladness in my heart
In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.
