Last week was a lot of hurry up and wait for Tiff- She arrived at Mayo late afternoon on Monday, April 21st and was checked in with the plan of beginning treatment the following day. After some further thought, her Mayo team decided they would like to see 2 of the biopsies which were taken by her MN Oncology doctors the week prior before starting her on her chemo regimen. Her blood numbers were good on Tuesday, April 22nd, so they felt safe sending her home while they waited to consult on the biopsies firsthand.
The plan for this week is similar to what was supposed to happen last week. Tiff will head down to Mayo on Wednesday, April 30th to start treatment then. She will learn more about specifics on Wednesday or Thursday, so we will update once we hear what that is going to look like for her.
Tiffany is overwhelmed with gratitude for every message, every prayer, and every act of kindness received from you all! She feels truly blessed to be surrounded by such a powerful and generous circle of care and wants you all to know what a tremendous source of strength you are for her and her girls.
