✨Atlee Sue Takes Over August✨

YES, I’m late!😂 but only 14 days… Atlee Sue really TOOK OVER August!

WOWWWWW… August was a BIG month for our girl AND for us! 🥹💕

Atlee girl has been busy growing, learning, working hard, and of course… keeping us all on our toes with her sass and WALKING everywhere after our visit with Arkansas DMI 😂 BUT we have lots of wins in August and I’m excited to fill yall in!

1️⃣ Atlee had a sedated CT scan.. the results were she has two cysts on her brain. We then saw neurology, neuro surgeon, endocrinologist and plastic surgeon. Right now the plan is to treat her symptoms which some days is bad headaches, migraines, throwing up, and her forehead bulging and red. The neurologist did have us start her on Magnesium to help prevent the headaches hopefully. As of right now they aren’t worried and just keep an eye on her. Please continue to pray for healing over the cysts and controlled symptoms.

2️⃣ Atlee is still working hard every single week with her favorite PT and Speech therapist!  Watching her work so hard and then seeing those little accomplishments add up is something we will NEVER take for granted.💕 We are working so hard on communication right now and all things to prepare our girl to WALK independently. She is constantly showing us just how determined she is. Although she truly believes if she gives Mrs.Courtney & Mrs.Tessa lovins she won’t have to do therapy😂

3️⃣ Speaking of working hard… this girl completed an entire week of DMI intensive therapy with On The Fly @ The Lake of the Ozarks AKA GIRLS SUMMER CAMP! 😮‍💨💪🏼 She did 2.5 HOURS of therapy each day! And because apparently that wasn’t enough therapy all these girls at Summer Camp got to try paddle board therapy! It helps work on balance, strength, and movement while she’s out on the water. And yes… she absolutely loved it because she’s a water girl! 🥹💦

4️⃣ My little/BIG bestie officially turned 4 YEARS OLD! 🎂😭 She is “too cool FOUR school” How in the world do we already have a 4 year old?! We had the best school themed party: best cookies, a cupcake Atlee and I both knocked over before pictures were even taken😂, my closest family and friends that helped decorate, and everyone who showed up to celebrate another year that God gave us with Atlee girl. We are so incredibly proud of how far she has come and all of the things she continues to accomplish.

5️⃣ This was a tough one for her momma..  PRESCHOOL open house, but y’all… 🥹💕 Seeing her meet her teacher and instantly give her a hug, going to the toys, and of course NOT smiling for a picture was really a special moment for us. As most know I’ve went back and forth when it comes to Atlee attending school. I prayed a lot about this day and I believe we found the perfect spot for her. We cannot wait to see what this next chapter brings for our girl!

6️⃣And because we’re actual humans and not just robots..😂 life isn’t always therapy and doctor appointments, we also took a trip to the FAIR to have some fun and watch big brother in the marching band because she LOVES music!🎡🎠 This girl is an ADRENALINE JUNKIE though!🫠 I’m in trouble as she gets older. Pray for me lol. 

✨August may have been filled with appointments, therapy, milestones, and lots of hard work… but it was also filled with progress, smiles, new experiences, and so many reasons to thank Jesus for.💜
