"Give thanks to the Lord, proclaim His greatness; tell the nations what He has done. Sing praise to the Lord; tell the wonderful things that He has done. Be glad that we belong to Him; let all who worship Him rejoice. Go to the Lord for help; and worship Him continually." Psalm 105: 1-4

John finished his first round of six chemo treatments and had a PET scan last Thursday. We met with his oncologist yesterday. She entered the room with a big smile and stated that she was "surprisingly encouraged" by the results. "I am very pleased and this is wonderful news!" she added. His scans show a significant decrease in the size and cancer activity of the mass on his pancreas as well as the lesions on his liver.

He will continue with a second round of six chemo infusions (every 2 weeks) since the first round worked so well. The doctor was optimist that he would be able to cut back or drop some of the chemo drugs after this round. We are praying that the miracle healing continues!!

We are so grateful and so very blessed by all of the prayers that are lifted up for us each day. We know that your love and prayers are an integral part of John's healing both physically and mentally.

We love you and thank God for you daily!!

I just watched the video that my reunion brother Steve, sent to me. How inspirational and comforting it is to see how faith and the body of Christ have come together in the toughest of times to surround you with HIS LOVE Wisdom and forethought. What a mighty God we serve. I have been through some very dark and low valleys myself and God has always shown me that he is there. Sometimes I cried to him for direction and there was silence, but then, out of the blue, probably when I was quiet enough to hear, I would have a clear revelation burst forth in my heart and mind that seemingly came from nowhere! These were THE furthest things from my mind - so far that I knew it was GOD, because I did not have the wisdom or ability to come up with it on my own, I do not understand what we go through, or why, but I do know that he goes with us and comforts and lights the way through it. It is so hard to put into words - I think it's because these are glimpses of the heart of God - how could I possibly understand...let alone put it into clear concise words what I have seen. May God continue to bless you and heal you! Our Reunion group has been praying for you since shortly after you got this news and we will continue. Thank you both for bravely sharing your hearts and your faith with us.
