"O my Strength, to You I sing praises, for You, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love." Psalms 59:17

John had his 4th round of chemo today, and he entertained the clinic with his witty shirt! It is a long day in the infusion clinic, 6 hours, and he will be attached to the pump until Wednesday. John's dad, Ron, accompanied him to his infusion. They had a pretty in-depth spiritual conversation about the power of prayer. After their conversation, his "next door neighbor" peeked her head around the curtain and commented about how much she enjoyed their thoughts. God is always working; in all situations!

Because his chem was postponed from last Wednesday, he has had an extended period of good days. John was able to attend Ayden's swim meet on Saturday and then we went to lunch with Addi and Max. We were able to go to church, Bible class, and out to lunch with friends on Sunday. God is good!!

Please pray that we can keep the nausea under control after his pump is removed!! Please pray that we all remain healthy and free from the viruses, germs, and flu that are prevalent at this time. Please also pray that we, as a family, keep up our spirits and are able to accomplish all that we need to in our daily endeavors.

We love you and are so very blessed by you!!
John and Alicia

I love your story today about John’s time with his Dad and their conversation. It reminds me of what Deacon Wayne Charlton said, “If the only miracle we are looking for is the big one…..,then we will most likely miss the other miracles that are unfolding before our very eyes, each and everyday.” Life is so much brighter when we focus on what truly matters. Faith is daring to go beyond what the eyes can see. We continue to pray for you Alicia as John’s primary caregiver and John’s healing throughout his chemo therapy.
