365 days inpatient and Oakley is getting her miracle 🥹❤️

Oakley Werley’s Miracle Heart

On the exact anniversary of being inpatient we received the call from TCH saying they have accepted a heart for Oakley 😭🙏🏽 all because of a donor Oakley is getting a second chance at life. There are no words that could ever express my gratitude. Oakley went into the OR this morning at 7AM and we just got word that the surgeons have laid eyes on the donor and the heart looks great! Praise God!!! Please please please keep the prayers coming for Oakley and the entire team involved. Please pray for the donor family and the selfless decision they made during their hardest days 😭

It gives me chills to be reading this. I am so happy for you and Oakley. I know your family has been through a lot. My son was her neighbor back at Dells Children. Oakley is a sweetheart and I’m so happy for her. Big prayers for the family that donated as I know, this is a hard time but big prayers for y’all. I hope you all get to go home soon.
