A little update on Tom:
Tomorrow, he begins meeting with his new healthcare team at Johns Hopkins, with his first appointment Tuesday and another on Friday. I cannot even begin to tell you how grateful we are. God moved mountains to get us in with these providers! We know He has been working through every phone call, every connection, and every person who helped make this happen.
Tom is home resting, and Iām doing my best to keep him from doing everything he thinks he should be doing.Ā Of course, I realize the irony of ME telling someone else to sit down and rest. Iām not sure which one of us is the pot and which one is the kettle at this point!Ā Its a tug of war , for sure.
We know there is a long road ahead, but we are taking it one day at a time. We continue to praise God through this storm and trust Him every step of the way. Thank you for every prayer being lifted for Tom and our entire family. Please keep them coming as we begin this next step. -Kim
