Last night was rough for Asa (and us). He was having leg pain and kept waking, crying out in pain. Austin and I took turns sitting with him by his bed till we were both so exhausted and he ended up sleeping in our bed. We're thinking some of the pain is coming from his anxiety and fear over his hospital visits as it seems to occur more often and be worse when we have talked about upcoming trips to the hospital or the day before going.
Today was our earliest appointment yet at 7:30am. Asa's labs were good and he was able to have a lumbar puncture and receive chemo in his spine. Everything seems to be on track again. We are adding back one chemo pill along with a chemo injection 4x this week at home. It was a fairly short visit today and we were grateful for that. We are tired.
Thursday Asa has a follow-up neurology appointment and on Friday he should be receiving his glasses to help correct his esotropia strabismus (straighten his eyes).

Prayer Requests:
- That Asa wouldn't get nauseous from the chemo this week.
- For our team of doctors, nurses, and other cancer families to know the Lord.
- For good rest for Asa & the rest of our family this week.
- That Asa's glasses would correct his eye problems.
