We wanted to share a news piece that was filmed one day at the hospital a few weeks ago. Turned out to be a cool story!

What's Next:
Asa returns to the hospital on Wednesday (was originally Tuesday) morning for a lumbar puncture and to get hooked up to a backpack that will provide immunotherapy to him 24/7 for 28 days via his port. If you don't know what immunotherapy is, I can try to explain it in very basic terms:
Chemo kills the bad cells that his body is making. Immunotherapy will help train his body to make the correct cells again.

He will stay in the hospital for at least 48 hours for observation. There are some pretty big side effects that could take place so we really appreciate your prayers that his body reacts in the best way to this treatment with no complications. Thank you!!

Praying that the lumbar puncture won't be too painful and that Asa will be able to be still for the appropriate amount of time so that he doesn't get a headache or any other adverse side effects. Also praying that the immunotherapy is a huge success! Love you guys and always praying!
