The Temple Family
On Friday afternoon Asa's blood count was high enough (almost tripled from the day before!) that his doctors felt good about discharging him. Asa has only been home for just 2 weeks this year so we are VERY excited to have him home and our family all under one roof again!
What's Next:
On March 17 Asa will be re-admitted to the hospital (if his numbers are good enough) for 2-3 days. During this admission, he will get a lumbar puncture and get connected to a BLINA backpack that will provide him with immunotherapy via his port 24/7 for 28 days. He will be observed for 48 hours to be sure he does well and then will be sent home. We are grateful for this relatively new way to receive this treatment so he has the freedom to be home.
Thank you for continuing to pray! We are tired (but grateful!) and are working to find our family/work/school routine again.
