After 10 days in the hospital, receiving a port, 2 lumbar punctures, a bine marrow biopsy, and two rounds of chemotherapy, Asa is being discharged today! He is responding well to treatment so far and we are encouraged by that.
Asa has a lot of medicine to take 2x daily (a huge struggle for Asa) and we have a strict home care to follow. It all seems so overwhelming, but we know our God is faithful and will help us. We have learned that God's goodness shines best in the darkness and we have seen His hand all over this circumstance. God is good, all the time!
Prayer Requests:
- That taking medicine becomes easy for Asa
- That we keep our eyes on God, the Author & Perfector of our faith as He continues to grow our faith in this valley
- For our other 3 kids as they struggle to understand what is going on and why things are different now
