First of all—Merry Christmas!!!! We pray you have a meaningful day with family and friends close by and that Jesus is the focus of your day.

Early this week we received a phone call from Asa's doctor with the final results from his biopsy (they actually came in sooner than they expected!).

Here's the short version:
Asa is responding how we hoped he would but his body is still making leukemia cells (5 in every 1 million). He is not at risk for a bone marrow transplant at this time (praise the Lord!) and he will continue on with his scheduled treatment. What that looks like for us in the next few weeks is a 1 week hospital stay starting on the 29th then 2 weeks at home. This will be repeated 2 more times. Exact dates are dependent on how he reacts and recovers from each round.

This was super overwhelming info to take in and not what we were expecting the "good" results to look like, but we are grateful. While we greatly rejoice in this news, it is sobering to remember Asa has a long journey ahead still. We continue to place our hope and joy in Christ and He is sustaining us!

Merry Christmas dear ones and yes this news isn’t exactly what you were hoping but praising God that a bone marrow transplant is not forthcoming right now and that there are less Leukemia cells being produced!! Thankful he’s feeling good for Christmas and that you all can enjoy the day! Praying that these next weeks are uneventful and that the meds do the job of completely eliminating those bad cells and that 2026 will be Asa’s healing year!! Love you guys so much and always praying!
