Kat is finally home from Mexico! We are so proud of her. She was quite the tourist, too! She tried a Shirley Temple, loved eating Oreo ice cream with her dad, and explored a flea market with her Grandpa T and Grammy!

Last year, Kat got so many bonus cells transplanted, more than they expected. This year.... She got 7x the expected amount of stem cells!! 🎉 She truly is a fighter. We're not sure what to expect this time around but know that she is going to continue to make even bigger strides!

Sadly, Kat spiked a pretty rough fever last night and was sent to the hospital this morning. She doesn't have an infection, which was our fear, but she does have the flu. Thankfully she was still allowed to come home (especially before this ice storm) and start getting better. 
We are so thankful for the care team in Mexico who personally drove them to the hospital for quick testing before their flight and for the love and care they give her. If we had $1 for how many locals commented about her "cabello" then we'd already have enough for next year's treatment! One nurse even thought Logan was carrying a babydoll around. Kat leaves an impact wherever she goes ♥️
