After a couple of days of prayer, Devin and I have made the decision to move forward with Abigail’s care at Boston Children’s Hospital instead of CHOP. This was not an easy decision to make, but we are so grateful that God answered our prayers and gave us peace about the direction to take. 

Abigail now has appointments scheduled at the end of August in Boston. We are still working on getting Humana to approve coverage for her out-of-state visits. In the meantime, she remains on the cancellation list at UVA to get her tonsils and adenoids removed — a necessary step before she can have the airway reconstruction surgery. 

I’ve had several phone calls this week with the team at Boston, and we are feeling hopeful and supported. Please continue to pray for this next chapter in Abigail’s journey — specifically that Humana will cover her care at Boston, and that everything will come together in God’s perfect timing.
