It’s been rainy and chilly the last few days here in Boston. Yesterday, Devin and Gunnar went to a local church while I stayed back at the apartment with Abigail.

Today was the Boston Marathon, and we were able to watch part of it right from our apartment as the runners passed by our building, which was cool.

We did make the mistake of leaving to go to Walmart for groceries—it ended up taking us about 3 hours to get back because so many roads near us were blocked for the marathon. Lesson learned… next time, we’re staying put!

Abigail has been doing well. We’re weaning her off some of the medication, and she’s still on antibiotics. Tomorrow is a full day of appointments, and the rest of the week will be busy as well.
