I hope everyone had a blessed Memorial Day weekend. On Friday, the kids and I visited the police station because Gunnar had been asking for several weeks to see a police car. He says he wants to be a police officer or firefighter when he gets bigger. They had a K9 there, which Abigail absolutely loved petting, and the K9 loved all the attention too.

On Saturday, we visited Devin’s parents; on Sunday, we went to church; and yesterday, we got a new dishwasher and stopped by Books-A-Million to pick out a new devotional for Devin and me. One of our goals is to be more consistent about spending time together in the Bible as a couple.

On Friday, the maxillofacial surgeon also called to let Devin and me know that he wants to have a virtual appointment with us this Thursday to go over the report and images from the virtual surgical planning team. He also wants to discuss the possibility of moving Abigail’s surgery sooner than August since the kids will be starting school then.

Please keep praying that the surgery can happen before August and that everything continues to fall into place. We truly appreciate all of the prayers, love, and support for Abigail and our family.
