Abigail went back to school today after being out for a week due to the snowstorm, and she was so happy to be back. When I picked her up, her main teacher told me that Abigail is making progress, which is always encouraging to hear. I have a meeting this Friday with the school and her teachers to start talking about plans for next school year.

Yesterday and today, Abigail ate baby food and actually swallowed it which may seem small to some, but for Abigail, this is a really big deal and something we’re celebrating.

Earlier today, I went to the ladies’ Bible study I’ve been attending for the past couple of months, and tomorrow I’m trying something new and going to a CrossFit class I was invited to. I’m pretty sure it’s going to kick my butt since it’s been a few years since I’ve really worked out, but I’m excited to give it a try, especially because the coach genuinely cares about overall health and well-being.

Next week will be busy with appointments for both kids, and somehow we’re already coming up on the halfway point of February. Time really doesn’t slow down, for anyone.
