The Stallard Family
In just two weeks, we’ll be heading to Boston! This will be our first time flying in a small aircraft, so we’re asking for prayers for safe and smooth travels.
Earlier this week, we got an update from Dr. Rahbar’s OR scheduler—Abigail’s airway reconstruction surgery has been pushed to next year. She still hasn’t had her tonsils removed, and Dr. Rahbar doesn’t perform airway surgeries during cold/flu season for obvious reasons.
At the end of this month, we’ll be seeing Dr. Resnick, the plastic surgeon who will help determine which surgery needs to happen first: jaw distraction or the LTR (laryngotracheal reconstruction). Please pray that everything lines up exactly as it’s supposed to.
One of our biggest prayer requests right now is for Humana to cover all of Abigail’s out of state visits. As of now, Humana isn’t covering out-of-state care, which is a hurdle.
We appreciate every prayer, word of encouragement, and the love you’ve shown our family. Thank you for walking through this journey with us.
