Xavier's NICU Update 7/29
This week has been another emotional roller coaster, but we're grateful for every small victory.
Xavier is now 5 lbs 1 oz and 16.9 inches long—it's amazing to see how much he's grown since weighing just over 2 pounds at birth. He's still receiving breathing support on the ventilator. He's started steroids to help his tiny lungs continue to heal and is tolerating larger feedings, both of which are important steps forward. While we're celebrating every victory, we know the NICU journey is still far from over, and we're continuing to take it one day at a time.
We can't thank everyone enough for the prayers, love, donations, and messages of encouragement. Your support has helped us stay by Xavier's side during the hardest season of our lives and reminds us that we're not walking this journey alone. Please continue praying for stronger lungs, continued growth, and for the day we finally get to bring our sweet baby boy home. Every prayer means more than words can express. ❤️
