I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted an update, so this might be a long one!

September 11th we had our baby girl and named her Willow. She was born on our bedroom floor and delivered by Timitri completely unassisted. It was a magical rollercoaster and so unexpected, but a perfect completion to our family circle 🤍

Our garage sale went amazing and we had some beautiful and generous people who helped contribute to Mila’s fundraiser. The garage sale earned us roughly $3500 that we will get to put towards our overall goal of $85,000. Thank you so much to everyone who had a part in the weekend — it was so much work and definitely felt good to end it the way we did!

We did just find out some pretty life-changing news, so Timitri and I have big decisions to make about where to go from here. We always knew that us both being home and providing care for Mila wouldn’t be forever, but sooner than we had hoped that will come to end. Timitri will be going back to work in some way or another and I will be looking at some work-from-home options to make up for that financial loss that is soon to come. This definitely puts a damper on our fundraiser efforts, as our attention is going to be directed towards making ends meet.

However, we do plan to put on an epic Gala back in our hometown of Spokane, Wa! With the help of friends and family, we will end our year of fundraising with this incredible event and we can’t wait to share more details as plans get put in place…stay tuned!
