We are so excited to share a wonderful update on Damon — he is getting closer to going home! 

 

Today Damon reached an incredible milestone, weighing 4.1 kilograms. Seeing this progress feels surreal after all the days, prayers, and steady steps that have brought him here. 

 

Another big step forward is beginning as well. The medical team has placed orders to reduce Damon’s TPN from 24 hours a day down to 20 hours, which is expected to start tomorrow. Over the next several days, the focus will be watching closely to see how this change affects his blood sugar levels and whether any adjustments need to be made along the way. 

 

Once his levels remain stable and Mom and Dad complete training with the pharmacy team that prepares his daily TPN, the path toward home becomes very real. 

 

This season brings so many emotions — excitement, gratitude, and honestly, a little fear too. After so much time surrounded by medical teams and monitors, the idea of bringing Damon home feels both joyful and overwhelming. As we move into this next phase, we would love to surround Mom and Dad with as much encouragement and prayer as possible. 

 

We are incredibly thankful for every person who has followed Damon’s journey, prayed for him, and supported our family. Each milestone reminds us how far he has come and how faithful God has been through it all.
