The Ramos Family
Last weekend, Ty was able to go down to Georgia and bring back a van for our family! It has already been such a blessing and game changer for us.
We decided to go with a lightly used Ford Transit. The one we purchased does not currently have a wheelchair lift. We thought it would be best to put all of our money towards the van itself, so that we would be able to get something with lower miles and be able to get it now instead of waiting even longer. The van alone is already making our life so much easier.
It is also very likely that we will be able to get some grants to cover a portion of the wheelchair lift, so I will be taking time to apply for whatever Winnie qualifies for. If we do receive any more donations here, those would go towards the wheelchair lift since most grants only cover small amounts and lifts are around $17,000.
We are so grateful to everyone who donated, prayed, and shared this fundraiser! We love you all!
