The Peyton Effect
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a bigger update because there have been a lot of exciting things happening lately. βΊοΈ
The biggest one is that I just turned 20 years old! π Hitting that milestone felt pretty special, and it made me think about how far Iβve come and all the things Iβm still working toward.
Iβve been putting in a lot of effort in therapy, focusing on building my strength and continuing to improve with my communication device. Every week, Im doing my best to get stronger and am enjoying moving my body. Some weeks of course I don't feel like it but seeing progress makes it worth it. πͺπ»
After that, I had a pretty big adventure β I lived independently without Mom and Dad for 10 days! π€ͺ It was a really fun experience and a great opportunity to practice being more independent and try new things. Afterwards, IΒ also got to meet my new baby cousin for the very first time, which was really special and such a sweet moment for our family.
Overall, itβs been a good time full of milestones, hard work, and some really meaningful moments. β€οΈ
Thank you to everyone who continues to follow along with my journey and cheer me on. Your support truly means the world to me! The process toward getting my Trexo walking device is still ongoing, and Iβm continuing to work hard β building my strength, practicing with my communication device, and taking part in therapy β all to prepare for that goal. π
If youβre able to keep donating or sharing my fundraiser, please know that every bit of support truly helps bring me closer to walking and living more fully. Iβm so grateful for all of you who are supporting me along the way! π₯
