The Peyton Effect
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a more detailed update on what I’ve been up to lately. I’ve been spending time practicing with my speech device and working hard in conductive therapy to build strength, coordination, and confidence. The work isn’t always easy, but it’s been so rewarding to see progress and feel stronger as I go.
I’ve also been making sure to balance the hard work with some fun — getting out and galavanting to the mall, the farmers market, and the library. Being out in the community, surrounded by people and everyday moments, reminds me why independence and mobility matter so much to me.
This week is a big one because I have an appointment with the Trexo team to get fitted for my walking device. Just knowing I’m this close feels exciting and motivating, and it makes all the effort worth it. Thank you to everyone who continues to follow my journey, cheer me on, and support me in so many ways. If you’re able to keep donating or sharing my fundraiser, please know that every bit of support truly helps me move closer to walking and living more fully — and I’m so grateful for all of you.
