The Neira Family
When Bella was discharged from the hospital for the very first time at 471 days old, we were told she would most likely never walk, talk, see, or hear.
She does have learning disabilities, cognitive impairments, and limited vision. But overall? She continues to learn more every single day.
She has exceeded expectations her entire life.
This week, I watched her work tirelessly on a PowerPoint presentation for school. She asked thoughtful questions, explained the facts clearly, and made sure I typed everything exactly the way she wanted it. She has never mastered handwriting or spelling โ but she tries. She always tries.
She doesnโt bring home straight Aโs.
Not Bโs or Cโs.ย
Not Bโs or Cโs.ย
But she brings home perseverance.
She brings home determination.
And she is ALWAYS proud of herself. And so are we.ย

She finished her project this weekโฆ and we celebrated.
Thirteen years ago, we were told what she might never become.
Today, I get to watch who she is becoming.
And thatโs why continuing her care matters so much. ๐
If youโve shared, prayed, or supported in any way, thank you for helping us protect her progress.
