The Neira Family
I have been staring at this update for a little while now trying to figure out how to say what I need to say.
We made this month’s insurance payment.
Because of you. Because of every single person who donated, shared, prayed, or showed up for our family in any way. Because of you — Bella has health insurance again.
I let out a breath I have been holding for months.
She has been without consistent care for too long. Missed appointments. Missed monitoring. For a transplant kid that is not just inconvenient — it matters. It really matters. And now I am finally able to start setting her appointments back up again. One by one. Getting her back to her specialists. Getting her back to where she needs to be.
I don’t know what the long run looks like yet. I won’t pretend that I do. We still don’t qualify for any programs or assistance. The same walls are still there. What we have right now will only last a few months. And then we will be right back to figuring it out all over again.
So I need to ask — please don’t stop. If you haven’t donated yet, every little bit truly makes a difference. If you have already given, please consider sharing this page with someone who might. A share costs nothing and it could mean everything for Bella’s next appointment. Her next specialist. Her next month of care.
On my end I am doing what I can. Figuring out ways to bring in income — whether that means working from home or building something of my own. I am not sitting still. This family never sits still.
But today I just want to say thank you. From the very bottom of my heart.
You gave our girl her appointments back. You gave this mama a reason to exhale.
Thank you. 💜
