It's been a huge blessing to have Liz's mom here with us for the past week. She's been caring for Liz and all of us well in so many ways, but we've especially enjoyed having a mom and grandma here in person.

Mom has been the calming presence we all needed through this difficult week. The kids have have made some fun memories with her as they've gotten back into a more normal routine. Between shuttling the kids to school and activities, playing piano duets with Brynn, and bowling with the boys, it's been stabilizing to see mom grandmothering in ordinary ways during one of our most destabilizing seasons.

We're really going to miss her when she heads home on Monday!
