Lisa and Otis are on their way home from the hospital. He is very weak and palliative care is all that's available for him now. The outpouring of love and support has been so humbly and gratefully received. THANK YOU!  Please continue to share and donate, no amount is too small.
Otis is very weak and tired. Being home, surrounded by family is the best medicine right now. Lisa and Otis have positively impacted so many lives in their business of healing through massage and it shows in the numerous ways people have shown up; thoughts, prayers, kind words, food, visits, donations, texts, etc. It is truly heartwarming to know there is such a loving community here.


When I asked Lisa if it were ok to share, she said he’s “been open about everything. The more power rooting for him, the better.” 

I’ve known how difficult things have been, but this morning, I got this in a family group text: “Hey guys. I just wanna let you know that Otis has been in the hospital for a few days and it's pretty serious. There’s a lot going on, but I just wanted to you all to know that they’re not sure if he’s going to make it. All prayers are welcomed and appreciated. There’s a blockage caused by the pancreas and only a surgery can potentially help. He may not be strong enough to endure the surgery. 

I wanted the family to know.”

“New development- they’re going to put in a stent to try to allow passage where there’s blockage. This doesn’t change the biggest challenge, but buys some time” 

The thing about Lisa is that she has and will give with an open heart. She almost always, for years, hosted family Thanksgiving and Christmas. Making feasts for everyone to enjoy. This is after years of working 6 days a week running her business. She’s an LMT and literally heals and helps people for a living. She’s always been a dedicated mother and wife. She’s actually an amazing human. 

And she never even considered asking for help. 

Why would anyone who loves you let you drown when they can throw a line to help pull you out of the tide? 

Cancer is harsh. It came in uninvited and drained them of their money, savings, and created huge debt as it takes them away from their business. 

Please help in any way you can, whether it be sending a little money, sharing the post, praying, sending positive vibes, and any other thing you can think of. Everything helps and Energy matters.
