Recovery (Day 2)

Hey Friends,

Great news. We transitioned from ICU to the regular recovery floor today. Pain has been way better this afternoon between getting meds dialed in and a little more time in recovery.

We're anticipating staying in this room for the next week and a half or so. We're too far out to be having any discharge-related conversations.

We're hoping to have the chest tube and spinal block removed within the next day or 2.

Pam and I are doing well. We were hugely blessed to have a close friend stay with us on surgery day through this morning. Pam was able to step out of the hospital this afternoon and get some fresh air, a shower and a little exercise.

Will continue to update with major milestones, but I anticipate those updates to be less frequent.

So glad it’s going well! Sounds so encouraging. I’m glad Pam got some time for herself, I’m sure you could use some, too. Continuing to pray and lift you guys up! ❤️ I’m sure Ken could use some encouragement to get on the iphone team!! 😁🤣
