Hey Friends,

Great news. We transitioned from ICU to the regular recovery floor today. Pain has been way better this afternoon between getting meds dialed in and a little more time in recovery. 

We're anticipating staying in this room for the next week and a half or so. We're too far out to be having any discharge-related conversations.

We're hoping to have the chest tube and spinal block removed within the next day or 2.

Pam and I are doing well.  We were hugely blessed to have a close friend stay with us on surgery day through this morning. Pam was able to step out of the hospital this afternoon and get some fresh air, a shower and a little exercise. 

Will continue to update with major milestones, but I anticipate those updates to be less frequent.
