On 2/12 Willow was due to be admitted, unfortunately her blood counts showed that her body wasn't ready. So instead of being admitted to start her second round of blinatumomab we went home. 6 months ago this would have scared us, we would have been an anxious mess wondering what a break in treatment would do. Though we wish she would have started, we simply went home and planned for a few more fun activities. Another day at the beach, more walks outside, picnics and simply enjoying the sunshine (with big hats and sunscreen on). Willows request was to go swimming and to watch the cruise ships leave port. We did however get the news that after blina willow will need to relocate to Orlando for the next 2 month cycle in order to be closer to the hospital. So I will be updating the Amazon wish list.
