Dear sweet friends and family,
I will keep this update brief as I have not had the mental capacity to process the last 10 days and I just don’t have the words yet.
I was discharged today and home recovering. It was gut wrenching and emotional leaving my girl at the hospital but Jeff is with her and I will be back when my body can physically tolerate it. Jeff is the most incredible dad and husband on the planet.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your prayers and support. I’m happy to update that Hollis has turned a corner and things are looking up for our giro! She is a fighter and so resilient.
Tonight we ask specifically for your prayers that she will pass the extubation removal trial and get her breathing tube removed. We hope this happens tomorrow or in the next few days. This will be a HUGE step forward. I will update as I can but wanted to let everyone know that things are progressing in the right direction and your prayers are working. Keep them coming. We love you all.

There is no greater love except for God’s love for us. I will for sure be praying specifically for getting the breathing tube out and for your complete healing. -Miracle

Praying for you and your little Hollis. Your bodies have been through so much. I'll keep your family in my thoughts as the journey ahead goes step by step. I'm happy that you are home. Allow yourself to rest and gain your strength back. Enjoy the snuggles with your little one. Caring thoughts for you.
