The Lambert Family
Actually - first we say THANK YOU! The outpouring of support for us in just a few days is unbelievable. Really. We can't believe it! We are truly grateful for each of you cheering us on in any way you can.
Speaking of cheers - we had some fun over the last few days too (pics below).
Speaking of cheers - we had some fun over the last few days too (pics below).
- July 3rd Tacoma Rainers game and fireworks - an annual family tradition.
- July 5th Matt's birthday - celebrated with cake by the ocean (another tradition)
- July 6th Annie's last shift as a World Cup volunteer
Lots of fun and good memories before we head into some more serious stuff ahead.
And on July 4th, Jacob reminded us how seizures also come to the party. He had a cluster of seizures (multiple small seizures a few minutes apart) in the morning, probably from staying out til midnight the night before. We gave him rescue meds, which stopped the seizures, but made him sleep for about 4-5 hours to recover.
These are exactly the kind of things we hope this new treatment will help prevent!
Tomorrow (July 7th) Matt is taking Jacob up to Seattle Children's for his pre-op CT and MRI, as well as meeting with the anesthesiologist. It will be a long day with lots of waiting. Please pray for smooth traffic and lots of patience in between the visits. And for Jacob to be more pleasant than stubborn when it comes to getting IVs and being still.
