We have some incredible news to share! John’s team at City of Hope Zion has identified a clinical trial at the City of Hope in Duarte, California, that appears to be a strong match for John’s specific case.
While John is still scheduled for his next chemotherapy session, his oncologist is encouraged—his Signatera (ctDNA) numbers are trending down, which is a positive sign we’ve been hoping for. We also have a critical PET scan coming up in that we believe will show continued progress.
Why We Need Your Help Now:
To transition to this new trial, medical licensing laws require John to be physically present at the Duarte facility for his initial appointment.
We are working hard to be good stewards of your donations. After initial quotes for airfare were over $2,000 per person, I was able to find travel for both John and myself (as his required caregiver) for approximately $1,400 total by utilizing a smaller, more cost-effective airport.
Our Current Goal:
We need to raise funds to cover this California mission, including the $1,400 airfare, lodging near the Duarte facility, and ground transportation.
