Hi all! It's Martine! Yesterday we were at the hospital for a few hours! Jesse seems like he is much more active! They lowered his sedation a lot! He had a lot of movement! He was moving his shoulders and Casey was asking him if he wanted his shoulders massaged and Jesse shook his head yes! After that Jesse looked like he was trying to flex his arm and Casey said "dad! You can still beat me up" and Jesse shook his head yes!! ♥️ 💪🏻Then Jesse was moving his legs like he was uncomfortable and Chris said "do you want to exercise?" And Jesse shook his head yes! So, Chris moved his legs back and forth a few times! Then Jesse started moving his legs back and forth a lot! Chris said "you're exercising Pork Chop!" Then Jesse started moving his arms like he was running!! ♥️We were so happy!! He has begun to get feeling back which is amazing at this stage of this horrendous  syndrome! Be was getting very excited and was trying to breathe over the ventilator 😫so, they had to up his sedation a little more so he can let the machine ventilator do its job, so his lungs can rest! When we left he kept giving us knuckles!!♥️🙏 

 

Waiting until Tuesday to let that immunoglobulin do its work! He’s less sedated now so he can show off today for the neurologist and the doctor so they can see his progress… Praying for a good weekend as he continues to get stronger… We just need his lungs to catch up with his mind!
