Brooklyn started developing a headache after chemo on Wednesday, and unfortunately it continued through her birthday. Yesterday she spent most of the day at the hospital, where she received two units of blood.

One of her liver enzymes continues to trend in the wrong direction, and her bilirubin has also started to increase. At this point, her oncologist isn't sure why this is happening, so they will continue to monitor her closely.

We'll be back at the hospital on Monday for more bloodwork to see if her bilirubin has come down enough for her to receive the next chemotherapy medication she needs. Even though her bilirubin increased between Wednesday's labs and yesterday's labs, her oncologist is still hopeful that it will be low enough by Monday to move forward with treatment.
