The oncologist came and spoke with us this morning. They are postponing the ommaya reservoir surgery due to her WBC being too low. There is too high of a risk for infection. They will revisit it in the next several weeks. They are also unable to give her the next chemo medicine due to her bilirubin being too high. They will continue to check her bilirubin and administer the chemo once she reaches a safer number. It's possible she may be coming home on Monday, but it depends on what her labs are over the next couple of days. If we do go home, we will be traveling back and fort to the children's hospital in Portland multiple times a week for treatment. They are also increasing her insulin dosage. Her blood sugars are not coming down as they had hoped.  

Brooklyn is in a quiet but good mood today. She says she needs more legos. 😆 Don't be fooled, she gets plenty from the hospital. She's had no fevers and minimal nausea the last 2 days. 🙌 We plan on going for a walk to one of the gardens today. It's supposed to be way too hot here. ☀️

On a side note, we do have an amazing view from her room of Mt. St. Helens. 🏔
