04/30/24 - When we first shared the news about my cancer diagnosis, we never imagined there would be such an overwhelming response. Duane and I are deeply touched and humbled by all the prayers, messages, and texts from family, friends, colleagues, and former students from Loma Linda. 

I have some good news! I underwent an MRI scan over a week ago. Today, my surgeon confirmed that the cancer has not metastasized to my liver, lungs, or other organs.

We are so thankful and relieved!

There are still some uncertainties ahead that we won't have clarity on until after surgery on May 13.

But we are taking this journey one day at a time. We are counting our blessings and praising God for this good news!
