It’s been a while!

Hi!! I have honestly got so caught up and forgot to update everyone on SJ. Since I last posted SJ has finished his DMI intensive, he did amazing and we are already looking at the calendar to see when we can go back. He has been having increased seizures daily which is such a bummer because we went 3 month seizure free but even with all the activity in his brain he is doing pretty good. He remains our happy boy except from some teeth pain every now and then. We are about to spend a week or so in the hospital to put him on the Keto diet. Our hopes for this is to control his spasms without additional medication so please please please say a prayer that this is a good solution and that he tolerates this diet and he goes back to being seizure free. It’s so hard to develop and gain skills (or maintain the ones he has) while having 10+ seizures a day. On a positive note SJ celebrated his first 4th of July, he took a nice nap on the beach and got to go into the lake for a quick swim and did so so good with all the activity and the heat it was the best day ever! Thank you again for everyone that keeps our family in mind and shares our story to raise money for all these amazing treatments that are out there for our SJ💙
