He was able to get into the chair 🪑 this morning. He did much better than yesterday no extreme setbacks. They gave him some medicine to ease some of the pain.
He then had to get up from a sitting position and walk. Mind you it’s not utilizing your arms to stand. Because of the surgery he has to use his legs to get up. That was fun him trying to tell the therapist I need two minutes to start going. Her response “I’ll give you one.”
He has to walk to open his lungs 🫁 if he continues to sit or lay it could cause major problems like pneumonia. They are weaning him off of consistent oxygen they are pushing him to get him better. Which mind you we all know he is not a fan of his limitations are being tested. It literally whipped his ass trying to walk and the uncontrollable shaking he has isn’t helping.
I was informed if he doesn’t start making progress in the next few days he will have to be put into an outpatient rehabilitation center fml 🤦♀️. It’s still early to tell but please pray 🙏 that he starts making progress.
My update My view isn’t so bad from the hospital room that is all for now.
