The last couple days have been challenging with extreme stomach pain, nose bleeds, constipation and just overall feeling icky. 

Today we had some praise reports: She walked today, a good amount for her- more than they expected from her for only going from bed to chair for the last few days since that most recent event. She also did sitting leg exercises and she did well. We are thanking God for strength that she was able to do it! Also praying that tomorrow is another good day, all of her events that have occurred have been the day after a lot of exertion so please be in prayer that  her body holds strong and no more events.

 

They did decide to take her Art line out which was the line that way able to monitor her BP continuously, this is nerve racking for Brit and Louis because this is what was able to capture real time her events and what her BP was doing. She will now have an external cuff that can be set to go off every minute. The Art line was another big factor that was keeping her in the ICU so hopefully she is closer to getting out of the ICU now that it’s been removed. We just need her body to maintain! 

Due to her extreme constipation up into her small intestine on CT scan paired with her severe abdominal pain and vomiting, they were talking  about placing an NG tube for medication to hopefully clear her out- but she didn’t need it! She was able to go to the bathroom after she walked today - definitely not all of it but it’s a start so pray for continued relief! 

Please lift up Brit and Louis for peace and rebuking anxiety about not having any answers yet. The anxiety for them can be crippling thinking about moving to a floor bed &  taking her home at some point , feeling like they don’t know how to protect her from another event happening. 

We need the Lord to provide restoration and peace over possibly not having any clear answers. 

Another praise report: her ECHO today has shown slight improvement which hopefully means she is going in the direction of healing instead of being stagnant🙏🏻
