Greyson was able to be extubated at about noon today. He is still extubated and doing well. He started off on the nasal bipap but he needed a little more support so they switched him to the full mask bipap.
I have gotten to see him wake up and act more like himself. He is still on some sedation medications to help him stay calm while wearing the mask but he has moments of wakefulness. He asked to play his piano, expressed when he was in pain, watched a little bit of Pooh, and asked many times to sit up. 🧡💚🎗️
